The difference between a good caterer and a caterer can be hard to identify. But not at Hiro’s Island Catering! . It's just a little family run business - but it's a business you will want to hire again and again!
The menu itself is terrific! The taste difference between home cooked smoked meat, Teri beef and miso chicken is very noticeable. And that makes for some great food!. The potato/mac salad was to die for and the rice cooked perfect.
But what really sets Hiro’s apart is the Aloha. I heard of Hiro’s through a friend and gave Hody a call. From the get go you have this feeling as if you were dealing with a family friend. From the easy menu options to last minute changes Hody made sure my orders was perfect. The day of my retirement Hody and her husband showed up on time and we notice the care and the spirit of aloha. The food was amazing. I have had catered food in the past that was bland or cheaply put together. Hiro’s food was plentiful, tasty and served hot and fresh. The Chow Fun reminded my how my Grand-Ma used to make it!
My guest all complimented me on the food and many took food home! When we were done Hody and her husband cleaned up and left the place spotless. Well worth the money!
That easy, laid-back island feel, good local food and a super reasonable price. Take it from this picky person Hiro’s is a family business you can trust to serve good food, for a reasonable price!

We were fortunate to have Hiro's Island Catering do our lunch buffet for our WOPN Event held at Ala Moana Beach Park. Service was excellent.. They set up everything in food warmers, and the selection of food was great, and so delicious! It hit the spot...especially after paddleboarding! Thanks Hody, you did an awesome job for us!! I even took some home...my mom loved it too!

We loved the service and the food was super ono! My guests were really impressed with the food and many of them wanted their name for future reference. I think they ran out of business cards at the end of the evening! AWESOME! I would recommend them to anyone.

Thanks Hiro's Island Catering for preparing the food for our Paddle Board event for West Oahu Professional Network! Even though our event was a family beach day, Hody and her gang delivered and set up the food in food warmers. Very professional and DELICIOUS! Much Mahalo!
